*All sessions will be 9-11 am (MST) on Tuesday*. Sessions will be offered
in hybrid format: we will be in the Data Studios of the Main Library
<https://new.library.arizona.edu/visit/spaces/data-studio> and running a
concurrent Zoom session at https://arizona.zoom.us/j/437855363. To get the
most out of these workshops, participants should bring a laptop with R and
RStudio installed
<https://jcoliver.github.io/learn-r/000-setup-instructions.html>.
- September 05: *Open R lab*: Bring your R questions or just come in to
write some code.
- September 12: *Introduction to R statistics*: This will be a
novice-oriented workshop, providing an overview of reading data and writing
output as well as running standard statistical tests in R, including
t-tests, linear regression, and analysis of variance. Experienced learners
are welcome to this workshop, too!
- September 19: *Introduction to R graphing*: This hands-on workshop
will demonstrate how to create a basic plot in R from a text file of data.
This introduction provides an entry point for those unfamiliar with R (or a
refresher for those who are rusty).
- September 26: *Open R lab*.
