Hi all,
We hope that everyone had a safe, enjoyable and restful holiday break. Welcome to 2021! Below you will find some important updates for this semester.

Graduate students are required to participate in the mandatory testing program if you will be on campus for classes or laboratory activities. https://covid19.arizona.edu/mandatory-testing
The mandatory testing and compliance will be managed through the Wildcat Wellcheck. You must sign up for this service  ( not an app- it is text based) by texting JOIN to 35106.

UA also would like all to download the COVID Watch Exposure app to track and notify people of exposures. Available on Android and Apple app platforms.

Review details on classes and class formats in UAccess  Please review your class enrollments in UAccess and make sure you understand what classes, journal clubs, research/thesis/dissertation units you are enrolled in and the format of the classes. Let me know right away if there are problems.

TAs should be meeting with the faculty they are assigned to, completing the TA expectation forms and sending those to Erin and me. Make sure you have completed all trainings outlined in the letter Erin sent. Let us know if there are any problems.

The Plant Sciences Business office will be open M-F 9-3. The Marley and Forbes buildings currently require Catcard access so let Amanda know if you are having difficulties with access.

UA has been designated as a vaccine distribution center for Pima County and GAs/TAs are eligible. More information will be coming from the University as they roll out the vaccination program.
