Dear BIO5 faculty,

I'm attaching an ad for a 2 credit class I am teaching in the Spring. The class teaches fundamental computer skills and concepts that are valuable to research labs (hardware, software, databases, Tableau, Unix etc.).  It is listed as SLHS 497 / 597 Thursday afternoons 1-3, however,  I have revised the class to ensure students can take the class asynchronously if they do not have the Thursday afternoon timeslot open.

Please forward this to any students who you think might benefit. I do not assume they know anything about computers, and I have found this class was also valuable to students who were reasonably skilled.
