Subject: CALS Community Writing Efficiency sessions

Hello CALS Graduate Students,
This semester we will again host writing efficiency sessions (WES) for the CALS graduate student community. I am excited that Drs. Martha Hunter and Amber Rice will join me in the host facilitator duties.

The writing efficiency program utilizes the Pomodoro technique and dedicated writing time each week to increase your writing productivity. This program has received considerable positive feedback from students and I can personally state that this program really helped me stay on track last Spring. If you are working on any writing project like a dissertation, thesis, class paper, journal article, grant proposal or other project, please consider joining us!

Writing Efficiency Sessions will be held virtually on:
*            Thursdays 1-3pm (AZ time) (from 9/2/21 to 12/9/21)
*            If this day and time does not work for you, find other sessions on the Grad Center website https://gradcenter.arizona.edu/

Please register ahead of time: https://uarizona.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_1QYQIaK2Ay63rUi. Once you register, you will be emailed the Zoom link.

You may attend an entire session or part of a session; you aren't required to attend each week. The two hours contain timed writing sessions with short breaks followed by a short discussion aimed at helping you improve your writing productivity. Therefore, come with a goal of what you want to write and all the preparation that requires.
