We are pleased to announce the opportunity for funding to support domestic doctoral graduate students. The UA Graduate College offers a one-time award of one (1) cash fellowship, student health insurance and full base in-state tuition to help an outstanding graduate student during their doctoral-track career for the 2021-22 academic year. Deadline to apply is November 2, 2020 for 2021-22 academic year


Dr. Maria Teresa Velez Diversity Leadership Scholarship for 2021-22
Award is $25,000, full base tuition and student health insurance
Awardee may NOT concurrently hold a graduate assistantship/associate

Eligibility

  *   Domestic graduate student (U.S. citizen or permanent resident)
  *   Admitted to a doctoral program at the University of Arizona (UA Online, JD, MD, DVM, Pharm-D students are not eligible to apply)
  *   In good academic standing
  *   Has demonstrated a commitment to furthering diversity in education, higher education, and the community at large
