[Plsgs] Register for Spring 21 courses

Hello all,
As the semester winds down, it is time to start registering for Spring 21 classes. Most students need to register for at least 6 units and first year students for 9. Contracts can not be processed if you are not registered for classes so please talk to your advisors and contact me to register for Research/Dissertation/Thesis units.
Here is a listing of courses taught by our faculty:

Required course: PLP 550 Principles of Plant Microbiology   Dr. Arnold

PLS 524R Plant Biotechnology  Dr. Eliot Herman
PLS 575A  Physiology of Plants under Controlled Environment Agriculture  Dr. Tanya Quist
PLP 524R Microbial Genetics Dr. David Baltrus
PLP 575 Advanced Mycology Drs. Arnold and Orbach
PLS/PLP 596A Seminar Dr. Xiong

There is no School wide journal club this semester but there may be topic specific journal clubs offered by faculty. I will let you know about those if they are going to be offered.

PLS 549A Plant Genetics and Genomics will not be offered this Spring.

Syllabi for most of our classes are on the SPLS website under Academics>Courses. If you click on the course heading it will bring you to a description and an attachment.
Research/Dissertation/Thesis units-  Discuss with your advisors and let Georgina know how many units you wish to be registered for.

Courses in other departments: search class schedule under course prefix (MCB, ECOL, etc) and Course Career (Graduate) to pull up only graduate level classes.
