Hello,

On behalf of the Plant Science Organizing Committee, we would like to invite Graduate Students of your Department to attend the Nebraska Plant Science Symposium 2020: "Advancing Frontiers in the Plant Sciences: Challenges from Concepts to Applicability".

This year's event will be held Tuesday, March 17, 2020, at the Nebraska Innovation Campus Conference Center.

The event will consist of a morning session of invited speakers on various plant science topics, followed by lunch, and an afternoon session of workshops by experts in the field. Included in the afternoon, there will be tours of the facilities located at the Nebraska Innovation Campus, a panel discussion ('Perspectives on communicating plant science in an interdisciplinary field"), student 3-minute talks, and a student poster competition.

The deadline to be considered a student speaker is February 16. The selected student speaker will receive a travel award of up to $500.

The deadline to register and submit poster presentations is February 28.
