As Director of Postdoctoral Affairs, I am writing to alert you to important updates and resources for postdocs. Please share this email with postdocs (and graduate students) who may benefit from these opportunities.

*       We invite UArizona postdocs to complete the 2020 Postdoctoral Achievements Survey<https://uarizona.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_6Vg0zSc996rvV1b>. This survey will provide us with data to document and quantify the significant contributions postdocs make to our university. Given the current socio-political climate and the economic challenges the university is facing, it is more important than ever to highlight postdocs impressive achievements as scholars, scientists, and members of this community. We will use the data from this survey to support our efforts to advocate and secure resources for UArizona postdocs.

*       We are cohosting with ASU the 2020 Arizona Postdoctoral Research Conference. The CALL FOR ABSTRACTS is open through August 21, 2020. *       We are cohosting the Preparing for Faculty Job Application Series tailored to postdocs and graduate students who are interested in academic careers. The workshops will cover research and teaching statements, diversity statements, ePortfolios, interviewing, and more. These events will be held on Tuesdays at noon from September 1 through October 13, 2020.
