Camping in the Dragoon Mountains
The SNRE Grad Students are taking a weekend off to explore the Dragoon Mountains, and you're welcome to join us! We'll be leaving on the afternoon/evening of Friday Oct. 4th (time dependent on which carpool vehicle leaves when), hiking around all day Saturday, and driving back Sunday morning.
Our camp will be on the west side of the Dragoon Mountains off of Middlemarch Rd. These are primitive campgrounds, so campers should be prepared not to have a restroom available. Food, supplies, and gas costs will be split up after the weekend (all food will be purchased ahead of time for the group).
If you're interested in joining us, SIGN UP HERE<https://t.e2ma.net/click/39ijbc/j624jbb/vnw8zl>!!! Through the spreadsheet we will coordinate rides and camping gear. Please reach out to Susan Washko<mailto:washko.susan at gmail.com> (washko.susan at gmail.com<mailto:washko.susan at gmail.com>) if you have any questions. Hope to have you along for the trip!
Weekly Spanish Lunch
Do you like speaking Spanish, or want to practice? Every week we have Spanish Lunch, where native Spanish speakers and Spanish learners get together and talk! Spanish Lunch is on Mondays from 11:30 am-12:30 pm on the roof of ENR2 (weather permitting, secondary location is the Slot Canyon Cafe). Bring your lunch with you, and let's have some fun!
If you would like to be included on Spanish Lunch reminder emails, please email washko.susan at gmail.com<mailto:washko.susan at gmail.com> with your request or with any questions. Hope to see you there!
