EVENT: Colors of STEM: How to Find Summer Research or Internship Opportunities
DATE: Monday, November 18th from 12 pm - 1 pm
LOCATION: Marley Building, RM 230

Colors of STEM: a lunchtime discussion was created specifically for undergraduate and graduate students of color* pursuing STEM-related degrees. Our hope is to offer a safe sense of place, community, and sounding board for these students, supporting faculty, and staff. In past years, examples of what we have discussed were: a sense of place and identity, mental health, and navigating your field as an underrepresented minority.

This month we will have graduate students facilitating a workshop on how to find summer research or internship opportunities. Pizza will be provided for lunch, therefore it is critical you RSVP so that we know how much pizza to order. Please bring your laptops or cellphones to utilize during the workshop.
