Hi all,
I was asked by Dr. Ann Sakai at UC Irvine to distribute these flyers regarding travel awards for the 2019 national Botany conference to be held here in Tucson July 27th-31st. These travel awards are targeting two demographics. 1) Plant science faculty or staff at local tribal colleges, community colleges, and minority serving institutions. As an HSI I believe that faculty within the SPLS would qualify. 2) Undergraduate students (with a focus on creating a diverse pool of students) at any of the above types of institutes. Please forward this on to any organization, students, or faculty you think might be interested in this opportunity.
