Subject: Undergraduate research opportunity - tropical plant physiology and leaf gas exchange in Biosphere 2





Undergraduate research opportunity on tropical plant  physiology and leaf gas exchange in Biosphere 2. The research task is to assess tropical leaf respiration and photosynthesis via field work in the Biosphere 2 tropical biome. Candidates should have some familiarity with plant biology/plant sciences (with background in plant physiology preferred), basic technical skills, and should be comfortable working in a field environment. Research credit is available; transition to part-time funding is possible with demonstrated success.



Length of project: Summer 2019 through Fall 2019
