[Plsgs] Kickball and AZ Stem Adventure Info

Dear SPLS Grad Students,

*Kickball Info:*
This is a reminder that this upcoming Monday 11/12 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm is the
Faculty Vs. Student Kickball game at Mansfield Park.  Please sign up on
this Potluck Sheet

if
you can bring something.  One important thing we're missing is drinks, so
please sign up for that if possible.  Unfortunately, we cannot have alcohol
at this event because it is partially funded by the school.  Also, sadly we
won't have the club t-shirts by this time (the licensing for printing
shirts with the UofA symbol has been very difficult).  Please encourage
post-docs, staff, and faculty to come!

*AZ STEM Adventure Info:*
The AZ Stem Adventure educational outreach event will take place next
Friday 11/16 from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm at Pima Community College Northwest
Campus.  We need to have the exhibit ready at 8:30 am, so we should be
there by at least 8:00 am.  I can drive up to 4 people in my car, so if
you'd like to carpool with me let me know and we'll meet at Marley 7:15 and
leave at 7:30 since it is about a 20-minute drive.  We'll be renting
microscopes and a UV box from the classroom lab, so please bring slides and
any other outreach materials your lab has.  I have attached directions to
PCC Norwest Campus and a map of campus.  We will be located in Level 2:
Center of Campus.  If you plan on coming please let me know, so we can plan
accordingly, thanks!
