[Plsgs] CONFERENCE - Nebraska Plant Breeding Symposium

Please see the attached invitation to attend the plant breeding symposium in Nebraska. There is considerable funding available for speakers and poster presenters.

My name name is Preston Hurst, and I am a graduate student at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln. I am emailing you to ask if you can share information on our plant breeding conference with students at Arizona.
We are looking for graduate students to be guest speakers, and give talks on the research they are doing in plant science. This is a good opportunity for students to get some exposure with industry and academic professionals as well as practice in scientific public speaking.

Speakers will receive full travel and hotel funding, in addition to a $300 award. The deadline is coming up in a couple weeks (January 19). We will also be hosting students who wish to enter our poster competition. Travel scholarships for poster presenters are available to students who apply before JANUARY 19.

We would really appreciate it if you would share the attached flyers with students that you think would be interested in applying to be a speaker.
