The Graduate Center, Postdoctoral Affairs, and the Office of Research, Discovery and Innovation are excited to announce our upcoming Career Forward workshops and panel discussion on leveraging advanced degrees and experience for careers in industry and nonprofit sectors. Please share this message with your graduate students, postdoctoral scholars, and faculty and staff who work with or mentor graduate students and postdoctoral scholars. Workshops: 'Leveraging Advanced Degrees and Experience to Pursue Careers in Industry and Non-profits'

Description: Graduate Students and Postdoctoral Scholars have a range of skills and experience needed in a variety of career settings. Being able to highlight both is critical to your success in landing a position with a company or non-profit. This workshop will prepare you to apply to positions in the business and non-profit sectors. Attendees will benefit from the 30+ years of experience in business and entrepreneurship of James Jindrick, Director of Corporate Engagement for the UA's Office of Research, Discovery and Innovation.
