The Institute of the Environment invites UA PhD or terminal degree students with a research focus on the environment and/or social justice to apply for a $5,000 scholarship through the Carson Scholars Program<http://arizona.us2.list-manage.com/track/click?u=5b0ddadaf2ab8f8299b7305fb&id=1bc47d4a84&e=55391ba35c>. The program builds a network of graduate students and faculty devoted to furthering knowledge and awareness of Earth’s natural environment and communicating science to a broader audience. The deadline to apply is September 22.
