Call for Abstracts!

The Pioneer Plant Science Symposium at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is searching for abstracts for the upcoming symposium "Concept to Consumer: How innovation navigates policy and public opinion" on September 29, 2017. We are looking for students to present their research related to up-and-coming technologies influencing agriculture or plant science.

Currently, we are accepting abstracts for both our poster session and for oral 10-minute presentations as part of the main symposium talks. Our poster session is open to both undergraduate and graduate students, with selected presenters receiving partial travel awards to come to Champaign-Urbana. Our oral presentation is open to graduate students, with selected students being awarded a full Travel and Accomodation Scholarship.

The deadline to submit and abstract is August 2, 2017 at 4pm CST and applicants will be notified of decisions shortly afterwards. Abstracts can be submitted via the symposium website at:
