I will be offering a brief (2 hour) workshop on using R for multivariate statistics on Thursday, February 9, from 1-3pm. In this hands-on workshop I will focus on two approaches: principal components analysis and discriminant function analysis. The general learning objectives of this workshop are:
1. Prepare files and read data into R
3. Run principal components analysis (PCA) and graphically display results
4. Perform discriminant function analysis (DFA) and interpret the results
A general familiarity with R and RStudio would be helpful, but are not required for participation.
If you are interested in attending the workshop, please take a moment to register at http://tinyurl.com/arizona-r-2017-02-09.<http://tinyurl.com/arizona-r-2017-02-09> Please also feel free to e-mail me with questions about the workshop. Feel free to forward this announcement to others who might be interested in the workshop.
Cheers,
Jeff
