Hi All,

Our first outside seminar speaker will visit the department on October 11. As we discussed previously, I'm gauging interest in lunch with Dr. Sloan (http://www.biology.colostate.edu/people/dbsloan/).

Please fill out the following poll. The lunch will be held at noon. If you are committed to attending, just highlight the noon hour and add your name. http://whenisgood.net/qxad3h5. You must reply by Wednesday, October 5th so that arrangements for the lunch can be made.

Attached you will also find one of Dr. Sloan's most recent papers, which should help you prepare for his talk. We will have a discussion of this paper on Monday, October 10 at noon in Marley 441H for anyone who can attend.
