Dear Grad Students and Post-docs,
Dr. Jeremy Yoder, a candidate for the Adaptation Genomics position, part of the Ecological Genomics Cluster Hire, will be interviewing on campus April 5-6. Dr. Yoder received his Ph.D. in 2011 from the University of Idaho with Dr. Olle Pellmyr, and is currently a Post-doctoral Associate at the University of British Columbia. His current project focuses on the population genomics of local adaptation to climate in lodgepole pine and interior spruce as part of the AdapTree project. His seminar will be on Tuesday, April 5 from 2:30-3:30pm in Koffler 216 and is entitled: Using genomic data to identify and understand locally adapted genes.
There is an opportunity for students and post-docs to have lunch with Dr. Yoder on Tuesday prior to the seminar. Space is limited to 12 total, so sign up early.
