Dear Grad Students,

Journal Club 596B is offered this fall.  Among the array of topics you may select for discussion and presentations are: engineering biotic or abiotic stress resistance, enhancing plant nutrition, producing pharmaceuticals, or other relevant topics of interest.  Other examples could be molecular breeding, genomic pathology, or biotechnological solutions to plant epidemiology and pathogen detection or identification.  Students may tailor the topic to their interest to expand your overall knowledge of the discipline in which you study, or to explore new areas relevant to the course topic.

Please attend the first meeting of class this Thursday at 3:30 in Shantz 247, and bring your ideas for topics that interest you.
