We invite you to join us for a pizza lunch with Dr. Frank Aylward, candidate for the position in Earth System Genomics (part of the Ecosystem Genomics Cluster Hire): Wednesday, April 27 at 12:30-1:30pm in ENR2 S120A. Dr. Aylward received his Ph.D. in 2013 from the University of Wisconsin, and is currently a post-doctoral associate at the University of Hawaii.  He uses genomic and metaganomic analyses to study terrestrial and ocean microbial communities, with a past emphasis on the fungal communities of leaf-cutter ants and current emphasis on deep ocean ecosystems.
