[Plsgs] Graduate student invited seminar speaker for spring semester

I hope this note finds you well.

This is a friendly reminder that we have the opportunity to invite a
seminar speaker for the school's spring series. I previously sent out this
google doc for your nominations:

Our plan was to vote for a speaker mid-October. Other than the example that
I have posted, no one has suggested a potential invitee. As you know, this
is an excellent opportunity to meet professionals in research areas of your
interest, and to network with potential collaborators or future advisors. I
encourage you to take advantage of this unique opportunity.

Please let me know if you have any issues with accessing the document, or
questions or concerns regarding nominations. We'd like to see that the
document becomes populated with nominations soon.
