[Plsgs] meeting reminders

All,

The PLSGSC meeting will be held next Thursday, Nov. 6th at 4:30PM in Marley
441H. To change things up from pizza and sandwiches, it would be great if
we could get people to make their "famous" dishes, especially traditional
foods representing some of the diverse backgrounds we have in our
department. Please let me know if you would be willing to cook something
for us.

Also, the "All Things Omics" meeting will be held on Monday Nov. 3rd at
12:00 in the vet sci and micro library (room 205). Those of us who attended
last month's meeting can attest to the usefulness of the information
provided, much of which was specifically tailored to our interests.
