[Plsgs] Dr. Kochian seminar paper discussion

All,

Please read and prepare to discuss Dr. Kochian's nature paper (Magalhaes et
al.) from Sept. 2007. We will hold the seminar discussion on 10/27 from
12-1 pm in Marley 441H. Courtney has agreed to co-lead a brief introduction
to the paper and is currently looking for a co-presenter.

Keep in mind that people who are taking the seminar for credit are supposed
to ask 2 questions throughout the seminar series. Reading and discussing
these papers ahead of time provides a great opportunity to think about the
research and formulate specific questions.

I am going to plan on bringing some sort of potluck style dish to this
meeting. Please let me know if you would like to coordinate and also bring
something. It will be better and cheaper than whatever snacks I can buy
with club money. I hope to see you there!
