Dear Graduate Students and Program Coordinators,
The Graduate College Office of Fellowships and Community Engagement is pleased to support applicants to the 2015 National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP). Registration for support is available here<http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/NSFGRFPAppSupport2014>.
Program coordinators, please forward to incoming graduate students and students in the fall of their second year of graduate school.
What is the NSF GRFP?
The purpose of the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) is to help ensure the vitality and diversity of the scientific and engineering workforce in the United States. The program is an excellent source of funding for graduate students - providing awardees with $32,000 annually for three years, as well as many additional benefits. Who is eligible for the NSF GRFP?
1. US citizens, US nationals, or permanent residents
2. Completed no more than 12 months of full-time graduate studies. (This generally includes incoming graduate students and graduate students in the fall of their second year.)

What kind of support does the UA Graduate College provide?
Students who register for the NSF GRFP support program will receive the following:
1. Email updates with advice and links
2. Access to examples of successful applications
3. Invitations to information sessions, writing sessions, and workshops
4. Feedback on application essays (provided campus deadlines are met)
