Mark your calendars for the Office of Instruction and Assessment (OIA)'s annual Teaching Academy and D2L Orientations for New Instructors and TAs!

Teaching Academy

The Teaching Academy is a day of free workshops for instructors and members of the UA campus.  This year's Teaching Academy will have sessions on the Certificate in College Teaching, Library Resources, Think Tank tutoring center, SALT Center and Disability Resource Center resources for students, D2L, and Classroom Assessment.  Refreshments will be served!

When: Thursday, August 21, 2014, 8:30 am - 1:15 pm

D2L Orientations for New Instructors and TAs

The D2L Orientations for New Instructors will cover D2L basics such as how to request D2L course sites, how to access D2L, and where to get assistance with D2L.  The News, Content, and Classlist tools will also be introduced.  Two hours of D2L Open Lab will follow these sessions where members of the D2L Support Team will be available to answer any specific questions you may have.

The session will be Tuesday, August 26th from 12 - 1 pm in the Integrated Learning Center.
