[Plsgs] Luncheon with Seminar Speaker Dr. John Doebley

Hi everyone,

As you know, Dr. Doebley is our student-invited seminar speaker.  We have
been very fortunate to have the opportunity to invite an outside speaker,
and it would be great to show our appreciation to the School by interacting
with Dr. Doebley as much as possible during his visit.  Because only a few
graduate students signed up to meet with him individually, it would be
great if we could have a good showing at lunch.  If you are available for
lunch tomorrow and haven't already signed up, please consider doing so.
This is a great opportunity to interact with a world-famous scientist.

To give you an idea of Dr. Doebley's research, I have attached four of his
papers that highlight the really interesting story of the role of the tb1
gene in maize domestication.
