The Carson/B2 Science and Society Fellowship

The B2 Science and Society Fellowship is now part of The Carson Scholars
Program which offers four different types of graduate fellowships, each
worth $5,000. All recipients will become Carson Scholars, a growing group of
distinguished interdisciplinary researchers with strong commitment to the
environment and communication. In addition to the incentives and commitments
of the individual program, Carson Scholars will benefit from an active
network and special events and activities. 

The B2 Science and Society Fellowship remains a 1 year fellowship created
for UA graduate students undertaking research in the areas of ecology, earth
and environmental sciences. The goals of the program are to increase the
skills of the Fellows in communicating their research outside an academic
setting through public outreach events, blogs, and displays; and advance the
understanding of scientific information and the scientific process to
members of the general public.

The deadline for all applications/nominations is February 15th and awards
will be announced in mid-March.  To apply, please visit:
