Subject: Graduate Enrichment Program Workshop: Career Services
Dear Program Coordinators:
Can you please pass this email on to your graduate and/or professional
students? Thanks.
Our latest installment of the Graduate and Professional Student Council's
(GPSC) Graduate Enrichment Program (GEP) has been scheduled for Thursday
January 19th 2012 at 4pm. The Alternatives to an Academic Career Workshop
will be taught by Lizzie Schloss, Associate Director of Career Services. We
will have room for 50 graduate and/or professional students to attend this
Workshop.
This presentation is intended for graduate students who have or are
considering switching their focus to a non-academic career. The presentation
topics include: the decision to change focus, the value of a non-academic
career, resources for decision making, how to go from a CV to a resume,
skills you bring to employers and resources for job searching.
The Alternatives to Academic Career Workshop will be held Thursday January
19th from 4:00-5:00pm in the Career Services Workshop Room, Student Union
Suite #411 (SUMC 411).
Thanks for your interest and we look forward to seeing you at the IRB
Workshop and future GEP Workshops.
