Dear Graduate and/or Professional Students,

 

The Graduate and Professional Student Council's Graduate Enrichment Program
(GEP), with UA Career Services, has planned a workshop to help students with
their interviewing skills.  You are invited to register and attend.

 

Title: The Academic Conference Interview

 

Time: Wednesday, November 9; 4:00-5:00pm.

 

Location: Career Services Workshop Room, Student Union 411 (this is on the
4th floor above the UA Bookstores)

 

Description: This presentation will be presented by Lizzie Schloss
(Associate Director of Career Services) and will cover the format of
conference interviewing, preparing for interviews, questions to expect, how
to answer questions, questions for candidates to ask, dealing with interview
stress, things to do after the interview, and resources to assist graduate
and professional students with interviewing. The presentation is geared
toward PhD students who will be interviewing for academic positions; but it
also contains some general interviewing information that all graduate and
professional students will find helpful.

 

The event is limited to the first 55 people who register-previous GEP
