Each Spring, faculty hold elections for <a href="https://compass.arizona.edu/faculty-council" id="OWA2099be0d-71f1-91b8-f422-52a574e1a6de" class="x_OWAAutoLink" title="https://compass.arizona.edu/faculty-council" data-auth="NotApplicable">
ALVSCE Faculty Council</a> representatives. Each unit's current Faculty Council representatives are responsible for these elections. The term for these Faculty Council members will begin in Fall 2025 and end in Spring 2027. Elections should be completed by
May 15, 2025. That will ensure we have adequate time for a proper transition.</div>

terms on the ALVSCE Faculty Council. </div>

Council members typically work within their unit's faculty governance structure to hold an election. If a unit does not have provisions for this within an existing Unit faculty committee, this can be done in a faculty meeting with secret ballots or via electronic
ballot using a secure platform (e.g., Qualtrics).</div>
