for the position and was in the process of arranging for their on-campus visits when CALES imposed a hiring freeze due to the large college deficit, as Shane explained in an email on October 3<sup>rd</sup>. The finalists were informed that there would be a
pause, but we are still very interested in interviewing them once the college lifts the pause.</span><span style="mso-ligatures:standardcontextual"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
