These are 4GB DDR3 ECC DIMMs. Depending on the model of
MacPro you have, you may be able to use 4 or 8 of these DIMMs for 16-32GB
of
total RAM.

If you (or your group) has a MacPro and you want to check if you can use
these RAM modules:

1. Click on the apple in the upper right corner of menu bar 2. Select
"About
this mac"
3. Press "More info..." in the popup box 4. Select Memory from the
hardware
list on the right.

If you see that your memory type is DDR3, you can use this RAM. (Image
attached from my machine)

I'll be in my office today, 441F Marley, from 11am-3pm. Come on by --
first
come first serve.

Also, these will work in various windows/linux machines of about the same
age, but it is up to you to figure out if they will work.

Best,
-eric

View of my Memory configuration:<Screen shot 2013-04-25 at 9.56.47 AM.png><Untitled attachment 00007.txt><Screen shot 2013-04-25 at 9.57.09 AM.png><Untitled attachment 00010.txt><Untitled attachment 00013.txt>
