I am attaching each of the reports, and I hope you will have a chance to read over them before the meeting – especially the ones to which you did not contribute. There are many good responses with much insight about what the department does and aspires to be. I’m finding it challenging to distill all of these ideas into a single document, but I hope to have it done in time for the meeting. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>I thought this exercise was a good primer for the meeting we are going to have with the Dean next week. That meeting is intended to be a Q & A with the Dean Burgess to ask him about his perception of PLS, CALS, the immediate challenges we face and where he sees us going. It is also a good opportunity to educate him as to who we are and what we do. I have done that previously on a global scale, but this is your opportunity to have input.
