Davis Travel Fellowship in honor of George H. Davis, Executive Vice President and Provost at the University of Arizona from 2000 to 2007, and now Regents Professor Emeritus, Department of Geosciences. The purpose of the fellowship is to support promising tenure-track faculty members in any field in becoming more widely recognized for their work and more closely connected with colleagues, nationally and internationally.
