Hi All,<div><br></div><div>I was recently contacted by Metabolon, which is a metabolic profiling company that has been around for about 9 years. They been somewhat of a sleeper company until recently, but seem to have had some success in the medical side of things. Their CEO is John Ryals who is a former plant person, and they are putting out feelers for academic collaborations in the plant biology space. Their platform can quantitate a couple of thousand compounds and apparently costs about $200-300 per sample. They will be in Arizona the 2nd week of December, and have expressed interest in coming down to Tucson to give a presentation if there was enough interest. </div>
<div><br></div><div>I have no vested interest in this company, but am just following thru on my offer to explore if there was enough interest to warrant a visit. </div><div><br></div><div>Steve<br>-- <br>Steve Rounsley, PhD<br>
