[Plsfaculty] DRAC survey for SPLS fit within university research initiatives

Happy Monday, everyone!


Before you head off to lunch, please take a moment to fill out this quick DRAC request.


Last week, DRAC held a meeting with Interim Dean Mike Staten to discuss this year’s charter for the committee. Mike Staten assigned DRAC the task of documenting how the research conducted within each of the CALES units aligns with the University’s research initiatives. For more information on these initiatives, please refer to https://research.arizona.edu/strategic-research-initiatives. I personally believe that this is a valuable step in communicating the needs of SPLS, research interests, and other relevant information to CALES leadership.


I will collect responses until noon on September 12. Once I have summarized all the answers, I will submit them anonymously to the DRAC chair. I will also share the summary and the answers with everyone after the poll closes.
