>From Betsy Arnold: Service at the Unit level is important for the health, growth, and future of SPLS. It also provides connections with colleagues, engagement in our SPLS community, and an opportunity for professional growth and impact. This survey is a mechanism to share your service preferences ahead of committee assignments, which will be made in May/June for the upcoming academic year. If you are in line to be Chair of a committee (i.e., you are serving as Vice Chair now), please rank that committee as 'Most Interested.' Otherwise, please feel free to rank multiple committees with the same interest level. Active committees and engagement of committees in unit leadership will be a cornerstone of the coming year. As APRs are finalized in May, I'll be in touch to discuss assignments with you. Thank you for considering service preferences as we work on strengthening SPLS.
