Dear colleagues,

I hope that everyone had a restful and regenerative time over our winter closure, and that the new year is bright for you and all those in your circles.

Many of us ended the term on a high note thanks to our wonderful SPLS retreat, for which I extend sincere gratitude to Alex B. and our outstanding retreat committee. I look forward to highlighting the retreat's exciting events and many student awards in our spring newsletter.

At this time, we are reopening in stages, with many staff members returning to work next week. I thank Ginger for staffing our front office for much of yesterday, and Nic today. We will see our student workers back soon in Forbes 303. Please reach out if you have any questions or needs with regard to our business office.

As we look ahead, it is time to begin our reporting process for our Annual Performance Review. I will send an email with information about APR reporting later this morning.
