Good afternoon SPLS Faculty-

We hope your summer is off to a terrific start!  😊

Some updates related to business offices processes are listed below:


  *   Faculty Assignments for SPLS Accountants:  please see the attached list of faculty assignments.  The accountant that you are assigned to will be your main point of contact for business office needs.
  *   SPLS Email:  please continue to utilize the SPLS-BIZOFFICE at arizona.edu<mailto:SPLS-BIZOFFICE at arizona.edu> email address to submit requests to the business office; this allows everyone in the business office to have access to the request and we can expedite processing of your request.  The business office team has been instructed to review all items in the SPLS email daily.
  *   Key and Building Access Requests: Please send future key and building requests to SPLS-BIZOFFICE at arizona.edu<mailto:SPLS-BIZOFFICE at arizona.edu>.  Lizeth Enriquez is no longer processing key and building access requests.
  *   Faculty Account Reports: Our goal is to get an updated faculty report out to each of you by Wednesday 06/05.  We ask that each of you closely review your report and bring any questions to your accountant by June 12: since we are approaching fiscal year end, we have limited time to make any needed changes.  Faculty financial reports will be distributed monthly beginning July 15.
  *   NEW Faculty Onboarding: in the past, Amanda would meet with new faculty to provide them with guidance on University policies, business office procedures and to answer any questions the faculty had. As mentioned in Betsy’s newsletter from 29 May, we will be hosting an onboarding session shortly, and any faculty who wants to attend may do so.  More information will be sent out soon.
