[Plsfaculty] Plant Sciences Business Office Closed on Friday, May 10- staff working remote in the AM

Hi everyone-

Please remember this Friday, May 10th, is commencement.  University leadership has asked that we take the afternoon, noon to 5pm, off with paid University Release.  This will decongest campus and allow our students and their parents and supporters to more easily celebrate with the graduates.

As a result, the SPLS Business Office will be closed on Friday, May 10. We have asked all staff to work remotely in the morning and will be taking University Release time in the afternoon.  Please plan to resolve any in-person requirements with the business office by COB on Thursday.  Regular hours will resume on Monday, May 13.

Additional Needs from SPLS Faculty:

  1.  Please update your timesheets to reflect the University Release, if applicable.
  2.  If you are a supervisor, please ensure that your direct reports are also receiving this information.  If you are a 1.0 FTE employee, you are eligible for 4 hours (1-5pm) of paid time.
