Dear colleagues,

It was a pleasure to read about the many accomplishments of our SPLS faculty in instruction, Extension, research, and service as I completed our 2023 APR process. I found many instances that were truly inspiring – we have so many strengths in our people and in the work we do.

Reviews are posted now at UAVitae/Faculty Portfolio. I'll reach out to our early-career colleagues shortly for one-on-one meetings, and I welcome meeting requests from any others in our unit who wish to join me for a conversation. Over the coming weeks, I also will contact several members of our more senior faculty to discuss teaching assignments and plans for the coming year.
