Dear Colleagues,
With the Fall 2023 semester now successfully underway, I am reaching out to
remind you about an important deadline. The 2023 nominations for the
Graduate Teaching and Mentoring Award are due September 15th by 5pm.
This is your chance to recognize and honor our amazing graduate faculty who
go that extra mile to ignite inspiration and provide unwavering support to
our graduate students. Please share with your programs.
We firmly believe that exceptional graduate education is the cornerstone of
our thriving academic environment, and these awards embody our commitment
to applauding those who continuously set new standards in teaching and
mentoring.
All UArizona faculty members who have demonstrated a consistent record of
excellence with regard to the teaching and mentoring of graduate students
are eligible for nomination. Nominations may be submitted by students,
staff, faculty, department heads, or deans. To learn more about the award
