Dear University of Arizona Colleagues,

The rapid emergence and scope of Artificial Intelligence (AI) generative tools, like ChatGPT, Scite, and DALL-E, are at the forefront of many higher education conversations across the nation. The goal of the Artificial Intelligence Access and Integrity committee (AI2) is to connect these conversations on the UArizona campus.

To do this, we are gathering information about your understanding, use, thoughts, and insights into AI tools, and we ask that you participate in a brief survey<https://uarizona.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/preview/previewId/3a119259-46bd-493c-b199-4012c91fbfbe/SV_8eLZ4p9MEhXd3cG?Q_CHL=preview&Q_SurveyVersionID=current>.

In collaboration with the Office of the Provost and Research, Innovation & Impact, the Institute for Computation and Data-Enabled Insight (ICDI), Data Science Institute (DSI), and the University Center for Assessment, Teaching, and Technology (UCATT), the AI2  Steering Committee are building an AI2 Summer Exploration Working Group made up of faculty members to identify salient topics surrounding emergent AI tools. If you are interested in learning more or participating in this work, please indicate your interest in the survey.

If you are interested in participating in the Summer AI2 Working Group, please respond to the survey by May 17th.

Please note, if summer participation is not possible for you, AI2 committees will continue working group partnerships into future semesters.
