Subject: [Plsfaculty] Important: Spring 24 teaching schedule Action Required

Hello SPLS Faculty,

I hope you are doing well. I know that it seems early to start thinking about Winter 23 and Spring 24 course offerings since we are just completing the Spring 23 semester, but course scheduling is now open and will close in late July. Because this Friday is my last day in SPLS, I am going to do my best to try and update the schedule of classes as much as possible before Friday, and I need your help.

Please look at the tentative courses that you are currently signed up to teach for Winter 23 and Spring 24 in UAccess Instructor and respond to me regardless of your situation:

  1. If you do not see the course that you will be teaching listed, provide the information below so that I may schedule the course for you.
  2. If there is a course there that you do not plan on teaching, let me know so that I can remove it from the offering list.
  3. If everything is fine as is, please let me know so that I may document that information as well and not have to send a follow up email.

To add a course, please provide the following information, indicating your first and second preferences of day/time in case there are conflicts:

  *   Semester (Winter 23 or Spring 24):
  *   Course:
  * Modality: in person, iCourse (fully online), and/or distance (UA-Yuma)
  * Day and time offering preference #1 (for in-person courses):
  * Day and time offering preference #2 (for in-person courses):
  *   Session: regular semester, 7wk1 or 7wk2
  *   Seat capacity:
  * Classroom style: Collaborative Learning Space (for CLS-approved instructors only) or a standard lecture classroom.

Sincerely,

Amanda Armendariz, MSW
