  1.  Faculty Summer Supplemental Compensation:

Academic Appointments end on May 21 2023 and begin again on August 14, 2023.  If you plan on working during Summer 2023, please complete the attached form and return it to Lizeth by Friday May 5, 2023.   1.  Graduate Student Supplemental Compensation:

Attached you will find the summer compensation form for your graduate students. (Note: All GA's are on an academic appointment and will end on 5/21/2023). Please use the form to discuss with your grad student their summer work plans and funding. The Deadline for submitting the request forms attached is Friday May 5, 2023.  An announcement will be sent to all graduate students directing them to coordinate their summer plans with you.

Reminder, in order to be eligible for summer compensation, one of the following must apply:

  *   Student must be pre-enrolled for 6+ units for Fall 20XX (this will be checked)
OR

  *   Student must be enrolled for 6+ for Summer 2023

Students who are graduating during the summer months must be enrolled during the summer in order to be paid by the faculty advisor.

The form attached need to have the following information completed:

  *   Student Information
  *   Short description of the work to be performed over the summer
  *   Weekly authorization of number of hours the student can work and the account number the student should be funded on
  *   Time supervisor name and PI signature

Pay Rates: unless otherwise negotiated, all students will follow the following pay scale- Assistant $25.00/hour, Associate $26.88/hour. If you wish to change this rate or would like to develop a graduate funding plan, please coordinate with Nate Eakman.
