Greetings SPLS faculty, just a reminder that UAVitae submission are due on Tues, Jan 31, at 11:59 pm. On Feb 1st we will lose our ability to upload, and the committee’s review process will begin.
Required Steps:
1. Sign into UAVitae<https://uavitae.arizona.edu/>.
2. Add new activities from 2022 into the listed sections.
3. Upload your CV.
* The SPLS APR committee advises that faculty use the format guidance that is used during the promotion process that Faculty Affairs have developed and that has been sent our previously, and that the CV only covers a 3-year period; 2020, 2021, and 2022. Note, this is optional this year.
4. Fill out "Major Commitments and Plans" section.
5. Submit for review by the January 31th deadline. Submission button found in the ‘Initiated Activity Input Forms’ section under ‘Forms and Reports’.
Notes and FYI:
1. The number of sections required for a response within UAVitae has reduced significantly, and a new section has been added – a CV upload.
2. Historical UAVitae that you may not see anymore can be found in the ‘Forms and Reports’ section
3. If you want training or more information on the changes and UAVitae, Jeannie McLain from CALS did a training found here<https://arizona.zoom.us/rec/share/kkydxq3SI53fcCSeZ4C6hT7bSBYuuU3l7l5EbJbHk38LKDen5x1xG3svAPY7K21U.SuNrS2OPya_dBvuA?startTime=1670968863000>.
Good luck. Thanks.
Barry
