ALVSCE Research Awards - Call for Nominations

Submission Deadline for all Award Nominations: March 1, 2023

Three research awards have replaced historical Researcher of the Year Award:

  *   The Research Achievement Award honors sustained achievement in research
  *   The Early Career Research Award honors achievement in research by a faculty member within eight years of initial appointment as an assistant professor
  *   The Outstanding Research Impact Award recognizes a defined research project or discovery of unusual impact and recognition
Please view the Guidelines, Criteria and Submission documents for more information about each award.

An email notifying us of your intent to nominate a colleague, is appreciated.
This email should be sent to zaidaz at arizona.edu<mailto:zaidaz at arizona.edu> and include the name and unit for the individual to be nominated, and the name of the award that they will be nominated for.

Eminent Research Award

  *   $1,000 and a plaque
  *   Presented annually at an ALVSCE event

Early Career Research Award

  *   $1,000 and a plaque

Outstanding Research Impact Award

  *   $1,000 and a plaque
  *   Presented annually at an ALVSCE event

Outstanding Staff in Research Award

  *   $1,000 and a plaque
  *   Presented annually at an ALVSCE event

Outstanding Team Award

  *   $500 per person ($2,500 maximum per team)
  *   Brass plate bearing all team members' names added to master plaque

Send nominations in a single pdf file to Zaida Zalbidea at zaidaz at arizona.edu<mailto:zaidaz at arizona.edu> by close of business on March 1 annually. Should March 1 fall on a weekend, the deadline will be automatically moved to the next business day.
