[Plsfaculty] Travel Authorizations - Reminder

Hello Faculty & Staff,

The Business Office has been receiving a lot of travel reimbursement requests, after the traveling has already happened.

We wanted to send out a reminder that University policy states:

"Authorization for travel status is required prior to departure for official University travel activities regardless of funding source"

We ask that moving forward all Travel Authorization Forms are submitted prior to traveling. Attached are instructions on how to complete this.

We also want to remind you that:

                If you fail to obtain approval prior to travel It is within the department's discretion at the college/division level to deny reimbursement if the traveler is non-compliant with institutional policy.
